From April 2024 to February 2025, I served as Social Media Coordinator at Sporcle, the world's largest trivia quiz community. I managed the TikTok content calendar and scheduled 14 weekly daily posts via TikTok Studio. I filmed and edited weekly TikTok videos with an iPhone, Adobe Premiere Pro, and CapCut. I boosted engagement by 4% over six months through active community engagement—liking, commenting, and answering direct messages. Additionally, I created and scheduled 5 to 10 Canva graphics weekly for Instagram and Facebook using Sprout Social.

Sporcle Quizzes

A core aspect of Sporcle's identity is its website. Through social media, my primary goal was to drive traffic and inspire engagement. To achieve this goal, I launched a TikTok series featuring Sporcle employees playing quizzes, highlighting the site’s entertaining and interactive experience.

Wiki Hunt

To further engage our audience, the media team developed a series of creative challenges inspired by Wikipedia. This initiative successfully captured attention, resulting in a significant boost in both views and engagement rates.

Original Content

When I joined Sporcle, one of my key objectives was to diversify the content. I aimed to achieve this goal by creating original pieces that still aligned with trivia and the brand's voice. Here are some examples of engaging content that contributed to this effort.

Trendy Content

A key factor in TikTok virality is participating in trends. Before I joined, Sporcle had limited presence in this area, so I focused on leveraging trending content to help connect with a younger audience.
